13 weeks [praying for baby J]

This is the last week of my first trimester. (yay!!!!) Baby j is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

Development Prayers:
Baby j's fingerprints have formed on his/her tiny fingertips and veins and organs are clearly visible through the still-thin skin--pray the organs and veins are pumping and flowing just like they should.  Also,  baby j's body is starting to catch up with the head—which makes up just a third of the body size now--pray for continued brain and body development and that baby j is getting all the nutrients it needs.

Fun fact: if baby j is a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Crazy!
